Mr. Shamrock holds degrees from Nazareth College of Rochester (B.M. in Music Education) and the University at Buffalo (Ed. M.). He also has certification from the Gordon Institute of Music Learning in elementary general music and instrumental music mastership.
Mr. Shamrock has been blessed to be part of the Court Street faculty since 2005, where he has taught all K-3 general music classes and third grade choir. During this time he has also had the chance to teach 5th and 6th grade general music classes at the William Street School and Kindergarten classes at Hillview Elementary when needed. He truly enjoys working with the students of Lancaster and seeing them grow into such amazing musicians.
In addition to teaching, Mr. Shamrock enjoys performing on the piano. He is an accompanist for soloists and choirs throughout the WNY region, and can also be found in the orchestra pit for various middle and high school musical productions. Each week, Mr. Shamrock also performs at a local Clarence church, where he is the organist and pianist for a wonderful congregation. When he is not making music, Mr. Shamrock's favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife, son, daughter, and dog. He also loves traveling, and enjoying all things Buffalo- concerts, games, festivals, and great food!
