• Hello, I am Mrs. Camp!
I am excited to get to know you this coming school year!  Here is a little bit about me until we meet on the first day of school.   I have been teaching since 2006, I am excited to be teaching 5th grade for the first time this year.  Most of my teaching career has been spent at William Street teaching 6th grade.
When I am not at school I am home with my four kids and husband, who is also a teacher!  My oldest, Kennedy, is going to be a 5th grader this year - so I will be living and breathing 5th grade 24/7!  My second daughter, Addison, is going into 2nd grade and my twin boys, Griffin and Carter, will be in Pre-K this year.  So we are a busy, busy family!
Most of my time is spent doing things with my children and taking them to all of their activities, helping with homework and all that goes with being a family of six!  When I do have free time I love to cook, read, sing, do photography and be outdoors.  Whenever we can we try and vacation in the Adirondacks where we hike and swim as much as possible!  I also do a lot of work with Children's Hospital volunteering to assist families navigate through their stay at the hospital.  I am a big believer in volunteering and find that time spent helping others enriches your life beyond measure.  I hope this year we can inspire each other to build a better community around us through our actions.
As a teacher I use a lot of technology, hands on activities and try to relate all that we do in our classroom to your lives outside of school.  I am excited to meet you and know we have a fun-packed, challenge filled and exciting year ahead!
    See you in September!
