I've included some
information that you may find helpful and/or
informative. There are a few new changes
to our screenings which can be checked on the
web page, too !!
New York State has made a few changes in the grades requiring a Health Appraisal. Physicals are now required in Grades Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, 7th and 10th. The changes primarily involve the elementary school. Also any new entrants require a Health Appraisal before entering school.
A NOTE RE: MEDICATIONS
*****Please Also Remember ALL Medications (over the counter and/or prescription medication) that may need to be given in School REQUIRE a note from the physician and a note from the parent/guardian granting the nurse/school to administer the medication.******
