Dear Court Street Families, 
I love taking this time to reflect upon the wonders of the New Year. Watching your children flourish with the guidance of the fantastic teachers at Court Street Elementary School is a true blessing. While visiting classrooms, I witness children who are engaged and excited about their learning. I am very proud of the children and teachers at Court Street School, and I look forward to more great things in 2013.
As we look ahead to the month of January, there are many exciting activities happening at Court Street Elementary. Some of these activities include:
PARP program (Parents as Reading Partners: Coast into a Good Book) January 7th through February 1st
PARP kick-off assembly with Glenn Colton Friday, January 4th
PTO meeting on Tuesday, January 15th at 7:00
Physical Education and Wellness Week Monday, January 28th through Friday, February 1st
The PARP program (Parents as Reading Partners) is is called, Coast into a Good Book. If children read 15 minutes a night from Monday, January 7th through Friday, February 1st (totaling 7 hours), they will receive a free ticket to Darien Lake to use during the month of July. There will be numerous school activities scheduled throughout the month of January to promote the PARP program including a kick-off assembly on Friday, January 4th. Please check your child's take-home folder on Wednesday, January 2nd for information explaining the PARP program.
