Lancaster High School Academy of Finance prepares students to be both college and career ready. As a Distinguished Academy within the National Academy Foundation (www.naf.org), we endorse a work-based learning model that includes a broad range of experiences tied to student outcomes.  This means we have developed a continuum of activities, both in and outside the classroom, that provide opportunities for students to connect what they are learning in school to the world of work.  Students learn about careers, the education and training requirements for occupations within and across industries and are able to identify career interests and aptitudes.  This knowledge is then applied to college- and career-readiness skills.
