LANCASTER HIGH SCHOOL'S ACADEMY OF FINANCE is among 13 career academies recently awarded the National Academy Foundation’s (NAF) distinguished status recognition, and one of 8 academies receiving this recognition for a second consecutive year.  This designation is given to a select few who have exhibited fidelity to an educational model that prepares students for success in college and careers.

“This status as a distinguished academy means that LANCASTER HIGH SCHOOL'S ACADEMY OF FINANCE is a model for our network of nearly 500 academies nationwide.  They are serving their students using NAF’s proven model to a high caliber, and exhibit exemplary practices that we hope they will share with other academies so that all students can receive the high quality education we know our model provides,”

said Katherine Blasik, Assistant Vice President of Research and Evaluation for NAF.

The distinguished academies will be recognized at NAF Next, NAF’s annual professional development conference, in Washington, D.C. this July.
