Trigger Control- Trigger control is the skillful manipulation of the trigger that causes the rifle to fire without disrupting sight alignment or sight picture.
Interrupted Trigger Control- After taking up the initial slack of the trigger, the trigger is moved to the rear unless an error is detected in the aiming process. When this occurs, rearward motion is stopped until sight picture is achieved. Then the rearward motion continues until the shot breaks.
