Scientific Inquiry & Math Problem Solving is a course whose successful completion will require a passing grade (65%) in the course.
This course begins with teaching students the processes of scientific inquiry & math problem solving. Throughout the rest of the year the students will apply these learned skills and use critical thinking skills to prioritize and evaluate complex real-world issues. This will help to build their understanding of STEM topics as well as the world around them.
In this course, students will investigate the fundamentals of both science and math and learn how they interact and how they impact our everyday lives. The learning process will be accomplished through classroom demonstrations, hands-on activities and laboratory experiments. This process will be enhanced through the use of discussions, projects and asynchronous work.
