Lancaster Central School District Survey on School Climate and Student Social Emotional Health
Our district has partnered with the UB Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention for several years. Together, we are administering a survey to our teachers and parents as well as our students in grades 4-12 to better understand perspectives on our school climate, school engagement, and the stressors during this current school year.

Orange Zone Update 12_3_2020
Our goal remains to have our young people in school, learning to the fullest extent possible. We are constantly assessing our zone designation and the many factors that will allow us to appropriately, safely, and effectively return our students to the in-person hybrid model.

Remote Meal Service
This letter serves as a reminder that the district is operating a remote meal pickup program (if you are already enrolled, you do not need to fill out a new form) and this program will continue to be available to all students while the district is in the fully remote learning phase. The meals are at n o cost

LCSD Orange Zone Update
Moments ago, Governor Cuomo designated Lancaster as an Orange Cluster Zone. As a result, the Lancaster Central School District must shift from in-person learning to remote instruction for all hybrid students. Phase I of our Remote Instructional Plan will begin on Thursday November 19, 2020.

LCSD Yellow Zone Update
According to the governor’s plan, once designated a yellow zone micro-cluster, the district may remain open to in-person instruction, however, we would need to randomly identify and test 20% of our students and staff (1,200 tests per week) each week until the data points in Erie County and Lancaster drop below the yellow zone levels.

Erie County has invested grant funding from the U.S. CARES Act to establish Virtual Learning Support Centers (VLSC)

Childcare Resource Network
Child Care Resource Network (CCRN) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization located in Buffalo, New York, that works to help families find child care, educate and empower child care providers, and advocate for the children of Erie County and Western New York. Throughout Erie County, we conduct inspections to ensure providers are following regulations. CCRN also assists in opening child care centers and continues to support them with a wide variety of services.
