Attention JAS Parents and Families,
We are so excited to announce this year’s Kids Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association! Every year in February (Heart Month) we participate in this national fundraiser to raise money for people of all ages with unhealthy heart conditions. Over the last 20 plus years coordinating this event, we have raised almost $120,000 for the American Heart Association.
Raising funds to help kids with special hearts, and to support the health of hearts and brains everywhere helps students feel good by DOING GOOD!
During this special event, our students and their families will learn important life skills, be more active and have the opportunity to learn hands-only CPR! Our goal this year is $9,500.00. We have reached our goal EVERY year and hopefully, with your help, we can have another incredible result and maybe surpass our school record of $11,755.00!
You will be receiving additional information, a parent letter with the program details and instructions, on Friday, February 9th after our school “kick-off” program. THANK YOU so much for your support! Please contact Mr. Dugan or Ms. Beuth if you have any questions.
