This course will introduce students to the basic elements of the Architectural profession and the work of an Architect. Students will be introduced to Architectural drafting (i.e.: site planning, floor plans, front elevations, foundation plans, etc.), the construction techniques and terminology used to create a building, and a familiarity with building codes. This course prepares students for college courses in the areas of architecture, interior design, structural/civil engineering, drafting, and construction.
