Lancaster Student’s Fashion Designs Hit the Runway
The fashion designs of Lancaster High School senior Holly Cecere hit the runway during the Erie 1 BOCES FUSION ‘25 Fashion Show.
The April 3 show, held at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, showcased the work of 24 high school fashion students from across Western New York. This year’s class of designers is the largest since the show was first held in 2009.
Among the highlights for this year’s show was a segment of sustainably upcycled designs, created with clothing acquired with support from Goodwill of Western New York.
The two-year Erie 1 BOCES Fashion Design Technology program teaches students how to dress, style and create trends based on design elements and the fashion cycle. Students in the program also develop business plans as a part of their studies, setting them up for future success. The students’ work included creating the posters and tickets for the show.

The Lancaster High School Academy of Finance (AOF) celebrated its 18th class of graduates as 71 students from the Class of 2025 were recognized in a separate graduation ceremony at the Lancaster Youth Bureau Band Shell.

From the earliest learners to the rising leaders of Lancaster High School, the longstanding tradition of students stepping up to improve the school community and leave a legacy for future generations is woven into the fabric of the Lancaster Central School District.
