The website and the annual calendar for the Lancaster Central School District were recognized by the New York School Public Relations Association as a part of its 45th Annual Communications Contest.
The calendar, designed by Director of Public Relations Kimberly Gromoll, was recognized with an Award of Excellence, the highest level of recognition in the contest.
The website, which launched in March 2024 after extensive updates to improve the site’s user experience and presentation, received an Award of Merit. The website was designed by Director of Public Relations Kimberly Gromoll and assisted by Cheryl Randall, Director of Instructional Technology and Accountability.
“We are dedicated to developing informative and visually engaging resources, ensuring they remain accessible and user-friendly for our community. These awards affirm our commitment to this approach,” Gromoll said.
In announcing award winners, the New York School Public Relations Association said that more than 430 entries in a wide range of categories were evaluated in this year’s contest by more than 50 communication professionals from around the country.
The district’s awards will be formally presented during the association’s 2025 Spring Conference.
