Dr. Andrew Kufel, LHS Class of 1996, began working in the Lancaster Central School District in 2011 as Assistant Principal at Lancaster High School. He was promoted to Director of Secondary Education in 2013 and then to Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Pupil Personnel Services in 2018. In June of 2024, he was unanimously appointed the next Superintendent of Schools following Dr. Michael Vallely’s retirement in December.
