Budget Details 2023-24

At the April 18, 2023, board of education meeting, trustees adopted a $130.7 million spending plan that maintains all current educational offerings and instructional programs while remaining within the property tax levy cap limit.

The budget reflects an increase of 6.90 percent and calls for an estimated tax levy increase of 3.31 percent, $1,609,510 below this year's maximum tax levy cap.

Check back often, as budget information will be posted to our website as it becomes available. The annual budget meeting will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lancaster High School Auditorium, located at One Forton Drive. Voting for the 2023-24 budget and board member election will be held in person on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Lancaster High School Java Gym.

Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained during school business hours at the office of the District Clerk. Completed applications must be received by the office of the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the District Vote (May 9, 2023) if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter or on the day before the election (May 15, 2023) if the ballot is to be issued to the voter in person. Absentee ballots must be received by the office of the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the District Vote.
