The annual budget vote and election is Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Lancaster High School, One Forton Drive.  Voting takes place in the New Java Gym, so please use the north entrance.

Board of Education Candidates

There are three Board of Education seats available, with three candidates running for a position. Highest number of votes upon election will serve July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028; Second highest number of votes upon election will serve July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028; Third highest number of votes upon election will serve May 21, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Please note that statements from candidates have been reprinted as submitted and were not edited in any manner.

Proposition #1 2025-26 Budget Total:

Proposition #2 Authorizes the Board of Education to expend $991,484 from the District’s existing School Bus Reserve Fund to purchase five (5) 28-passenger school buses and one (1) 65-passenger bus.
Proposition #3 Authorizes the Board of Education to establish a “General Capital Reserve Fund-2025” for the purpose of financing additions, alterations, renovations, or other improvements to the district’s buildings and facilities, not to exceed $10 million in contributions and exist beyond 10 years.
Proposition #4 Authorizes the Board of Education to establish a “School Bus Reserve Fund-2025” for the purpose of financing the purchase of school buses and vehicles by the District, not to exceed $10 million in contributions and exist beyond 10 years.
