• Community relations acts as a first line of information when the community has questions or concerns about the district, and is responsible for creating the district newsletter, Your Lancaster Schools, the district calendar, as well as managing the main pages of the district website and the district's social media accounts. Various other publications, such as brochures, posters, and guides, are published by the community relations office. The office is also responsible for media relations. The Director of Communications works with several community and staff groups to build understanding and support for the school district.

Lancaster's national award-winning newsletter, Your Lancaster Schools, is mailed to every home and business in the district throughout the year. Each edition contains photos and stories about staff and students engaged in excellence, information about educational programming, important calendar information, and updates from the superintendent and board of education.

If you are not receiving Your Lancaster Schools delivered to your door, please phone the community relations office. The community relations office may be reached at 686-3214.
