Welcome to Career Development and Occupational Studies!
Hello! My name is Jillian Dean, and I am the Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) Coordinator for Lancaster and Clarence High Schools.
Obtaining a Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) Credential certifies that a student demonstrates work-readiness skills for entry-level employment. Majority of students who are working towards earning this credential are receiving this certificate in addition to their Regents Diploma.
The pathway to earn the CDOS credential can be different for each student based on their interests and programming. Participation in internships, Career and Technical Education courses through the high school, CTE programs through BOCES Programs such as Harkness or Potter Road, and/or participation in an Academy program through the high school.
Please contact me at 716-686-3255 ext. 9426 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like any additional information or have any questions!
