It really depends on the number of players that tryout and their skill level.  The target for the number of players on the Freshman team is 16.

Typically we will practice minimum 5 days week.  Saturday practices also in play.  We will have approximately a 12 game season - weather permitting. I want to stress to you that if you make the team I expect full participation - missing practices, depending on the reason, may result in less playing time.  Being part of a team means showing up, working hard, being an exceptional teammate, and fulfilling your role as a player. Some will have much different roles than others and playing time is not guaranteed.  I am teaching kids how to compete at this level and how to be a part of a winning culture - if kids work hard in practice they will get rewarded in games.

Yes- metal spikes are permitted.  Keep in mind we may be playing a couple games on turf fields this year that restrict footwear to either molded cleats or turf shoes.
