Allegro Club is a select club for sixth grade students who are the top musicians in the district at this age level. The group takes a step further into music education, covering subjects including conducting, music theory and history, listening analysis, composing, music in society and entertainment, music careers, and computer music programs. The students who typically express an interest in the club are those who feel very confident with continuing their instrument and/or chorus through high school and are possibly thinking of enrolling in the high school performing arts academy.
The group meets after school on Fridays until 4:00 p.m. There is no late bus available on Fridays, so students must be picked up from this activity. For more information, please contact Miss Meides at firstname.lastname@example.org.
