    Coaches information
     
    Varsity Coach- Julie Buccieri 
    Coach Buccieri has been the varsity coach for the past 18 seasons here at Lancaster. Before that she coached for one year as the varsity coach at Niagara Wheatfield High school. She is a former player and alumni of Lancaster High School as well as a 4-year player at Division I-Niagara University. Julie is a special education teacher at Lancaster High School. 
     
     
     
    JV Coach- Jenna Hagen
    Jenna is a 1st grade teacher at Como Park Elementary. She is a former Division II lacrosse player at Mercyhurst University. She played lacrosse at Lancaster and graduated in 2016

    Coach Trice is a special education teacher at Lancaster Middle School. She is a former Division III lacrosse player at Medaille College. She is located in room 210 @ LMS if you need anything. 
     
     
     
    Varsity Assistant Coach- Jeff Buccieri
     
    Coach Jeff, our defensive coach, is also a football coach at Maryvale High School. He is in his 22nd year teaching social studies at Maryvale High School.

    1994: Grant from the Women’s Sport Foundation worth $5,000 given to start program

    1995: Initial season…played as an “A” and “B” team (overall record 2-14)

    1996: Sectional Semi final loss to Sweet Home (league 5-5, overall 5-7)

    1997: Division I Champ (undefeated); Sectional Final loss to Clarence (OT) (league 12-0, overall 16-1)

    1998: Division I Champ: Section VI Class A Champ (League 12-0, overall 15-1) Regional loss to Brighton

    1999: Division I Champ: Section VI Class A Champ (league 11-1, overall 15-4) Regional Loss to Brighton

    2000: Sectional Quarterfinal loss to Williamsville North (league 5-5-1, overall 5-7-1)

    2001: Section VI Class A Champ vs. OP (league 8-4, overall 11-6)

    2002: Section VI Class A Champ vs. Clarence (league 11-3, overall 14-5)

    2003: Sectional Semi-final loss to Hamburg (league 10-4, 11-5)

    2004: Sectional Semi-final loss to Hamburg (league 9-5, overall 10-6)

    2005: Division I Champ; Section VI Class A Champ (league 13-1, overall 13-3)
    2006: Section VI Class A Champs (league 10-2, overall 11-4-1)

    2007: Division I, Section VI Class A Champs vs. OP (UNDEFEATED in League 14-0) (14-3 O.A)

    2008: Division I, Section VI Class A Champs vs OP- (UNDEFEATED in League 14-0) REGIONAL CHAMPS…first team from WNY to make it past Rochester to get to STATE TOURNEY!!!!!! (20-3 overall)

    2009: Division I, Section VI, Class A Champs vs. OP (19-3 overall) (UNDEFEATED in league 10-0) loss to fairport in regionals

    2010: Section VI, Class A Champs vs. Clarence (12-7 overall) Loss to Pittsford 16-6 in Regionals

    2011: Division I Champs (undefeated 12-0 in division) (14-4 overall) Loss to Frontier 3-6 in sectional final game

    2012: Section VI, Class A Champs vs. Frontier (13-5 overall) (loss to Penfield in regionals)

    2013: Division I, Section VI, Class A Champs (vs. Frontier) (Loss to Penfield in Regionals)

    2014: Division I, Section VI, Class A Champs (vs. Frontier) (15-4 overall) (Loss to Pittsford in Regionals)

    2015: Division I, Section VI, Class A Champs (vs. Frontier) (17-2 overall) (Loss to Pittsford in
    Regionals)

    2016 Division I, Section VI, Class A Champs (vs. Frontier) (Loss to Pittsford in Regionals)

    2017 Section runners up Lost to Frontier 7-8 in the finals. Finished season 16-4

    2018 Section VI, Class A Champs (vs. Orchard Park) (Loss to Penfield in Regionals) 14-5 overall  (7-1 league)

    2019 Section VI, Class A Champs (vs. Clarence) (Loss to Penfield in Regionals) 14-5 overall (12-0 league)

    2020 Season canceled due to Covid 19 Pandemic. Seniors: Maddie Mazur, Stephanie Herrnreiter, Casey Helm, Paige Szymusiak, Brooke Beetow, Maddie Robinson, Olivia Ornat, Sara Zielinski

    2021 Section VI, Class A Champs (Vs. Clarence) 17-1 overall 

    2022 Division Champs. (Loss to Clarence in Sectional Championship) 16-2 overall
