Mrs. Alison Fiorello

Hello everyone! I'm excited to be teaching for my 20th year here at wonderful Hillview Elementary! My hope is that when June rolls around, you will say that 3rd grade was your best year ever! We have many exciting and enriching activities that await us.

A little bit about me...I grew up in Alden, New York. I currently live in Lancaster and have for my entire teaching career. I live with my husband, Chris, our teenage son, Alex and our dog, Tucker. In my spare time I like to walk, read, work on genealogy research, spend time with family and friends and volunteer for a local organization called Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight.

Please know that I am available for any questions or concerns you have. Contact me in any of the following ways:

    Birthdays

We love to celebrate your child's birthday with him or her! Homemade or store bought treats are welcomed. We have 24 students. Due to food allergies in the school, students are not allowed to take leftover treats to other classrooms. Treats may be brought in by the child or dropped off in the main office on the morning of the celebration. If your child has a food allergy, please send in some treats for him/her to keep in his/her locker in case they are needed.

    Homework

Students are given a small amount of homework Mondays-Thursdays. This is in addition to nightly reading. This homework should not take more than 15 minutes. If your child struggles, please notify me by note or on the homework and it will be reviewed with your child in class.
