Students in Temporary Housing
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act is a federal law that protects the educational rights of students in temporary housing. It defines “homeless children and youths” as any student who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.
If you are experiencing a lack of fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, please contact the District's McKinney-Vento Liaison at 716-686-3875 for assistance with the registration process.
Begin the Online Registration Process
After you submit your online registration your application will be pending. You will receive an email from the district registrar once your application has been reviewed. This email will contain the required documentation needed to complete the registration process. Please note that your child is not officially registered until all the required documents are received.
