The Television and Sound Production program is a two-year hands-on course. The program includes a student-run record label and video production house where students will acquire video and audio production skills while producing commercial music releases and videos for the community. Students will be able to combine artistic and/or musical talent with technical knowledge to produce original broadcast quality video and audio products. Through independent and group activities, students gradually build the skills necessary to work in a variety of communications-based industries and to pursue a post-secondary degree in video or audio production. Students enrolled in Television and Sound Production also have the opportunity to become certified in AVID Pro Tools Software as a User and Operator.
